The Detroit Auto Show is returning to January for the first time since 2019, bringing all of its wintertime wonder back to the Motor City. With four tracks and more than 30 brands on display over 11 days, this is one automotive experience you don’t want to miss.
If you’re planning to travel from Ann Arbor to visit the world-famous Detroit Auto Show in 2025 with your friends and family, Ann Arbor Hub has you covered. The show is conveniently located at the Huntington Place Convention Center, right in the heart of downtown Detroit. Getting there is a breeze—just hop on I-94 and head to the Lodge Freeway South, which takes you directly to rooftop or underground parking at Huntington Place.
Traveling from Ann Arbor
Making the trip from Ann Arbor to Detroit is easy and stress-free. Here are some tips:
Driving: The drive takes about 45 minutes via I-94 East. Use the Lodge Freeway South exit to reach Huntington Place parking directly.
Parking: Huntington Place offers rooftop and underground parking for convenience. You can find more parking options downtown here.
Public Transit: If you prefer not to drive, consider taking the Amtrak Wolverine Line from Ann Arbor to Detroit. From there, a short ride-share trip will get you to Huntington Place.

Tickets: General admission, VIP experiences, and group passes are available. It's very easy and we suggest you buy your tickets in advance online here:

Tickets may be purchased the day of the show at ticket booths located in Huntington Place concourse (cash or credit). Children 2 years and under are free when accompanied by a parent or guardian and do not require a ticket.
Adults: $20 per person
Senior: $12 per person (65 and older)
Children: $10 (3-12 years old; 2 years and under free with a parent or guardian)
Family Pass: $50 (2 adults, 3 children)
PLEASE NOTE: Every child in a school group must have a ticket to enter the show
