In November 2024, the City of Ann Arbor launched a temporary dog park at Veterans Memorial Park as part of a pilot program. This initiative was designed to provide a dedicated space for dogs to play and socialize while giving dog owners a chance to connect with one another.

Now, after two months, the city of Ann Arbor wants to hear from you. How well is the dog park meeting its goals? Are there areas for improvement? Your feedback is vital in determining the future of this pilot program and ensuring it serves the community effectively.
Who Should Share Feedback?
They're seeking input from everyone who may be impacted by the dog park:
Dog Owners: Have you and your furry friend visited the Veterans Memorial Park dog park? Tell us about your experience!
Neighbors and General Park Users: Even if you haven’t used the dog park, we’d love to hear your thoughts on its presence and how it affects your use of the park.
How to Share Your Input
Dog Owners: If you’ve used the Veterans Memorial Park dog park, please take this dog owner survey.
Non-Dog Owners and Neighbors: If you’re a neighbor, general park user, or someone who hasn’t used the dog park but is affected by it, please take this non-dog owner survey.
Why Your Feedback Matters
The goal of this pilot program is to enhance the quality of life for dog owners and non-dog owners alike. By sharing your experiences and suggestions, you’ll help the city determine whether the temporary dog park should become a permanent fixture and what changes might be needed to better serve the community.
Don’t miss your chance to weigh in on this important initiative. The surveys only take a few minutes, and your voice can make a big difference!
Thank you for helping us make Ann Arbor’s parks the best they can be—for everyone.
