Statement form Ann Arbor Pubic Schools January 20th 2025:

"Due to the dangerously cold temperatures, the Ann Arbor Public Schools will be closed tomorrow, Tuesday, January 21 and Wednesday, January 22.

The closure decision is based on the cold weather advisory with forecasted arctic masses resulting in dangerously low temperatures and wind chill on Tuesday and Wednesday. As is our commitment, when possible, we are sharing this school weather closure announcement this evening to give families some time to make arrangements.

The high school exam schedule will begin on Thursday, and continue through next Tuesday. The high schools will communicate the specifics of the exam schedules, and we will provide information to middle school students who may be taking exams at the high schools.

Athletics and extracurricular activities are cancelled for Tuesday, and the decision for Wednesday will be communicated at noon on Wednesday. "
